Tax preparation that ends with a conversation, not just a bill
Individual and business tax returns prepared by licensed CPAs in Cherry Hill, NJ — filed accurately, filed on time, and explained to you afterwards in language that makes sense. Flat fee, quoted before we start.
Everything from a simple 1040 to a multi-state S-corp
Roughly half our new clients arrive because their previous preparer filed the return correctly but never once told them what it meant. A tax return is a scoreboard. It is far more useful when someone walks you through why the number came out the way it did — and what to change before next year.
- Individual returns (1040). Including itemised deductions, rental property, investment income, and NJ–PA multi-state filings.
- Business returns. S-corps (1120-S), partnerships (1065), C-corps (1120) and Schedule C sole proprietors.
- Year-round tax planning. Quarterly check-ins so the April number is one you already knew about in October.
- IRS & NJ notice response. You forward the letter, we handle the reply. Included at no extra cost on returns we prepared.
- Back taxes and late filings. Multiple years behind? We bring you current and work on reducing the penalties.
- Two-year lookback for new clients. A free review of your last two returns. We find missed deductions more often than not.
Built for the way South Jersey actually works
Contractors, dentists, consultants, restaurant owners, landlords and the family down the road with a W-2 and a rental unit. If your situation feels complicated, it is probably one we have already seen.
Small business owners
Entity election, reasonable compensation, vehicle and home-office deductions, and quarterly estimates that don’t leave you short in January.
NJ residents working in Philly
The reciprocal agreement and Philadelphia wage tax are the single most-botched thing we see. We fix them, often retroactively.
Landlords & investors
Depreciation schedules, passive-loss rules, 1031 exchanges and cost segregation for the properties where it genuinely pays.
Questions we get asked a lot
How much does tax preparation cost in Cherry Hill, NJ?
Individual returns start at $325 and small business returns start at $750. We give you a flat fee in writing before we begin, based on your actual documents rather than an hourly guess. If your situation turns out to be simpler than expected, the price goes down, not up.
What documents do I need to bring to my tax appointment?
Last year's return, W-2s and 1099s, mortgage and property tax statements, and any records of business income and expenses. If you are not sure, bring the whole pile. We would rather sort through it than have you miss a deduction because a form stayed in a drawer.
Can you file my New Jersey and Pennsylvania returns?
Yes. We are licensed in both states and file multi-state returns regularly for South Jersey residents who work in Philadelphia. The NJ-PA reciprocal agreement trips a lot of people up, and it is one of the most common places we find money that was overpaid.
What happens if I get an IRS letter after you file?
Send it to us and stop worrying about it. We read it, tell you plainly what it means, and respond to the IRS on your behalf. Representation is included at no extra charge for any return we prepared.
Is it too late to file if I have missed a year?
It is not, and you are far from alone. We regularly bring clients current who are two or three years behind. Filing late voluntarily is treated very differently from being found, and penalties can often be reduced or removed entirely.
Not sure if you’re overpaying? Let’s find out.
Thirty minutes, free, and genuinely no obligation. New clients get a no-charge review of their last two tax returns — we usually find something.
